NFT kelimesi çok yakın zamanda hayatımıza girdi ve şu anda dijital sanatlarla uğraşan hemen herkesin gündeminde..
Nft nedir? Nft pazaryeri nedir? Nasıl nft üretilir? Nerede ve kime satılır? gibi sorularla başladım. Geldiğim noktada teknik soruların ötesinde Nft’lerin bir yatırım aracı, bir kripto, NFT alıcılarının ise piyasa deyimiyle trader olduklarını farkettim. Biz sanatçılar, yaptığımız işin niteliğiyle ilgiliyken piyasa aktörleri yaptığımız işin ne kadar kazandıracağıyla ilgililer.
Piyasada iki tür alıcı/yatırımcı olduğunu düşünüyorum. İlk grup konuyu sanat bağlamında ele alıp sanatsal anlamda da iyi bulduğu nft’ye yatırım yapıyor. İkinci grup ise nft’nin sanatsal yönüne takılmayıp sadece bir kripto değer olarak bakıyor. Bu yüzden sanatçılar olarak bizlerin de; ürettiğimiz işlerin içeriği ve kalitesiyle birlikte, başka şeyleri de dikkate alıyor olmamız gerekecek. Yani sadece üretmenin değil satmanın da önemli olduğu bir pazardan bahsediyoruz.
Nft ile ilgilenen hemen herkesin çözmeye çalıştığı yatırımcısına nasıl ulaşacağı. Yani nasıl ve kime satacağı sorusunun cevabı. Bunun doğru bir cevabı sanırım yok. Her üretici/sanatçı bu amaç doğrultusunda kendi yöntemini bulmak zorunda. Geleneksel sanat piyasasında olduğu gibi bu piyasada da kişisel temaslar büyük önem taşıyor.
Piyasadaki üreticiler -ki bunlara creatör deniyor- bir kısmı sanat formasyonuna bile sahip olmayan ancak piyasa rüzgarının etkisiyle nft üretmiş insanlar. Bir maymun portresine farklı giysi ve aksesuarlar giydirerek aynı objenin yüzlerce kopya hallerini üreterek satışa koymuşlar. Bunlar ve benzerleri, gerçekten de farklı kriterler gözetilerek alınıp satılıyorlar ve piyasadaki traderlerin tepkilerine göre değerleri artıyor veya düşüyor. Bazı üreticiler de tek bir kopya üretip benzersiz bir nft teklif ediyor. Ancak hepsinin ortak amacı, ürettiği nft’yi bir koleksiyonerin cüzdanına sokmak.
Gelecekte nitelikli ve üreticisine gelir üretecek sanatın nft kavramıyla birlikte anılacağını düşünüyorum. Bu yeni dünyada varolmak için en önemli neden yerel ve geleneksel sanat pazarıyla birlikte aslında tüm dünyaya bir şey teklif ediyor olmak. Evet pazarınız sadece yerel küratörler veya koleksiyonerler değil, pazarınız tüm dünyadaki sanat piyasası.
Geleneksel sanat piyasaları, küratörler, galeristler, piyasanın sözü dinlenen koleksiyonerler tarafından domine edilir. Ancak bu yeni dünyada dominasyon kriterleri ve aktörler çok farklı. Eski duruma göre yeni durum bir çok değişkeni göz önüne almayı gerektiriyor. Her şeyin ötesinde nft’nizi doğru tanıtmak ve alıcısına bir değer vaat etmek; yani alıcıyı doğru bir yatırım yaptığına ikna etmek gerekiyor.
Aksi takdirde nft’yi “create” etmek için geçirdiğiniz zaman, harcadıysanız “gas fee” giderine katlanmak ve dijital çöplüğe, asla satılmayacak bir iş koymuş olma gerçeğini kabul etmek kalıyor.

The word NFT has entered our lives very recently and is currently on the agenda of almost everyone dealing with digital arts.
What is Nft? What is nft marketplace? How is nft produced? Where and to whom is it sold? At this point, I realized that beyond technical questions, NFTs are an investment tool, a crypto, and NFT buyers are traders in the market term. While we artists are concerned with the quality of the work we do, market actors are concerned with how much our work will yield.
I think there are two types of buyers/investors in the market. The first group takes the subject in the context of art and invests in nft, which they find artistically good as well. The second group does not get hung up on the artistic aspect of nft, but just looks at it as a crypto asset. That’s why we as artists; Along with the content and quality of the work we produce, we will have to take other things into account. In other words, we are talking about a market where it is important not only to produce but also to sell.
How almost everyone interested in Nft will reach their investor, which they are trying to solve. So the answer to the question of how and to whom to sell. I don’t think there is a correct answer to this. Each producer/artist has to find his own method for this purpose. As in the traditional art market, personal contacts are of great importance in this market as well.
The producers in the market -they are called creators- are people, some of whom do not even have an art formation, but have produced nfts under the influence of the market wind. By dressing a monkey portrait with different clothes and accessories, they produced hundreds of copies of the same object and put them on sale. These and the like are indeed bought and sold according to different criteria, and their value rises or falls according to the reactions of the traders in the market. Some manufacturers also produce a single copy and offer a unique nft. However, the common goal of all of them is to put the nft they produce into a collector’s wallet.
I think that in the future, qualified art that will generate income for its producers will be associated with the concept of nft. The most important reason to exist in this new world is to offer something to the whole world, together with the local and traditional art market. Yes, not just local curators or collectors, your market is the art market around the world.
Traditional art markets are dominated by curators, galleries, and collectors who take their word for it. However, in this new world, dominance criteria and actors are very different. Compared to the old situation, the new situation requires considering many variables. Above all, properly present your nft and promise a value to its buyer; In other words, it is necessary to convince the buyer that he has made the right investment. Otherwise, the time it takes to “create” nft is simply to incur the “gas fee” if you have spent it, and to accept the fact that you have put some work in the digital trash that will never be sold.
